So what does Merlin, the Four Read Heads of the Apocalypse, Ghost Cats and a war god named Carl have in common?  Why, they're on the Sci Fi Traveling Road Show. 

First, we have another wonderful flash fiction reading by David Lee Summers. 

David Lee Summers is author of the novel Vampires of the Scarlet Order and the “Old Star� science fiction trilogy. He’s also the author of numerous science fiction, fantasy and horror short stories and poems that have appeared in such places as Realms of Fantasy and The Santa Clara Review. David also edits the science fiction and fantasy magazine, Tales of the Talisman, serves as a book editor for LBF Books, and a consulting editor for El Paso Community College’s literary magazine, Chrysalis. In addition to his work with the written word, he is also an astronomer who has discovered variable stars and worked in the field of robotic telescopes.


We have our interview gues, Dusty Rainbolt, one of the Four Redheads of the Apocalypse. 

Dusty Rainbolt is author of the award-winning kitten care book, Kittens For Dummies, as well as the science fiction romp, All The Marbles. Her book with the working title, Cat Ghosts will be released by Lyons Press in March, 2007. She just finished a paranormal mystery, Death Under the Crescent Moon. She writes the award-winning monthly column, “Dear Hobbes� for City + Country Pets, and she is the product reviewer for the Tufts University magazine, Catnip. In addition to all the articles printed as a staff writer for Whole Cat Journal, Lewisville Leader, Lewisville News, The Frugal Bride, Christian Informer, Crossroads, and Star Telegram NE, she has had more than 50 freelance articles printed.

Dusty has won Cat Writers’ Association Muse Medallions for Best Magazine Column, Best Humor, as well as the HSUS Pets For Life Award, Petmate Safe Cat Award, Purina Kitten Chow Kitten Award, Iams Responsible Cat Ownership Award, ASPCA Special Humane Award, Sticky Paws Training Award, Purina Cat Chow Nutrition Award, Tidy Cat Feline Behavior Award, Cat Writers' Association/American Cat Fanciers Association Cat Safety Award and she was recognized by Open Government Coppell for Excellence in Reporting.
